Gancaran / Parafrase
Gancaran utawa parafrase yakuwe ngowahi lan ngudhari wacana wujud tembang utawa geguritan dadi ukara lumrah supaya bisa luwih gampang dengerteni tegese lan karepe. Carane nggancarna tembang yakuwe:
a. Tembung Kawi deganti tembung lumrah (dejarwakake).
b. Ukara kang wewatone baliswara dhapukan tetembungane kudu dewalik.
c. Yen ana tembung garba kudu debalekna maring tembung asale.
d. Bisa kanthi ngurangi utawa nambahi tembung kanggo nglarasake ukara.

Gancaran/parafrase tembang Gambuh pada 1 lan2 :
Sekar Gambuh niku pupuh sing kaping sekawan, sing deandharna nggih niku solah bawa utawi tindak tanduk kang keliwat wates utawi keblabasen, nggih niku pakarti ingkang mboten purun nampi pitutur utawi pitedhah kautaman. 2. Nulis pokok-pokok isi tembang Gambuh
Sawise gawe gancaran pada 3 lan 4, banjur gawea dudutan pokok-pokok isine tembang Gambuh sekang pada 1 tekan 4!
3. Ngandharaken kanthi lisan pokok-pokok isi tembang Gambuh
Hasil garapanmu banjur diandharake neng ngarep kelas, lan kanca batir bisa paring panyaruwe utawa pitakonan.
4. Nanggapi isine tembang Gambuh
